VINTAGE GRANT "BENGAL NET" - EARLY MODEL - SCARCE!This is an early U. FG. Grant version of the well-known Bengal Net, thus the lack of the familiar graphics. The workings and effect however, are identical.A great deceptive utility item for vanishing doves or other similar sized items. If you're not familiar with the effect then...A dove or two are placed inside the cargo type net. A scarf is placed on the bottom of the netting so their feet do not poke through the holes in the netting. The net is then folded upward to hold the birds safely, then secured in place. The birds are visible right up until you release the net. The net falls open, the scarf flutters to the floor, and there is no trace of the birds. They are simply gone. The back drape behind the cargo netting is lifted to show a clear line of vision right through the net. You're not restricted to using just birds either. You can use other small objects like oranges, wallets, cell phones, a Barbie doll, decks of cards, packs of cigarettes, a bottle of water, or pretty much whatever will work for you and your presentation. With original instructions.Condition: Very Fine.. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .Terms and Conditions of Sale 1.
