Besides being a magician, Mr. Caulk worked for many years mounting birds as a taxidermist. He wrote the chapter on "Miscellaneous Tricks" in William Robinson's (Chung Ling Soo) "Spirit Slate Writing" and contributed numerous articles to Albert Hopkins' book "Magic: Stage Illusions and Scientific Diversions".
